Supporting the needs of Asheville’s vibrant and diverse hotel community.

ABHA was formed in 2019 by a core group of locally-owned and operated hotel companies who believed that their collaborative effort to identify new business opportunities and to solve unique challenges would benefit the hotel community at large.

 

We Exist To:

  • Promote the interests of the hotel community in Asheville and Buncombe County
  • Create opportunities for business collaboration and personal alliances among Members
  • Identify & promote workforce development through training and continuing education programs
  • Exchange ideas regarding operational matters
  • Articulate for hotel priorities with elected officials and regulatory bodies

Growing Together

Through out the years, membership has grown to include a broader representation of property types… hotel and motel, large and small, downtown and suburban, and independent and chain affiliated operations. Together with the Board of Directors and the Executive Director, the membership is working to advise and counsel City and County elected officials on important policy matters and to communicate the value of the hotel community ‘s contribution to the local tourism economy.
